Features and construction

features

  • Whole body is made up of mild steel duly powder coated with high quality Kanthal heater embedded in fiber board.
  • Insulated with non carcinogenic crystalline vacuum formed fiber boards.
  • Ceramic fiber board radiation shields are used.
  • Stainless Steel flanges for gas purging and vacuum ports are provided.
  • Temperature is controlled with the help of Microprocessor Based PID Digital Temperature Indicator cum Controller.
  • The furnace is hinged on one side and opens in two halves at other.
  • Maximum operating temperature 1050°C or 1150°C or 1350°C or 1400°C.
  • Type : Split tubular furnace.
  • Heater Type : Free radiating.
  • Rate of Heating : 10°C/min (average).
  • Thermocouple : K-type with inconel protective sheath.

  • Soft Start / Soft Stop, Power Tuned, Three (3) Limit Switches Configuration, Thyrister with power limiting feature, Inbuilt Thyristor Triggering.
  • Safety Features : Shall have the protective features viz. Thermocouple break, Over Current etc.
  • Furnace movement : The split furnace shall be hinged on one side and it opens in two halves (split type)
